UFOs over Stonehenge, 1800s Daguerreotypes

Stonehenge has long been considered a sort of “haunted” or perhaps magical location. These new images which have come to light — supposedly discovered in an old shoebox, allegedly dating from the 1880s — only seem to reinforce the mystery.

What were these strange lights in the sky? Who were the mysterious figures which seem to be performing an arcane ritual nearby? If these images are a hoax — as some have claimed — who would go through the trouble of creating them, and for what reason?
